Software Engineer
Lead the design and development of high‑fidelity real‑time simulation environments for aviation training, leveraging Unreal Engine, C++, and advanced graphics techniques to deliver immersive, performance‑optimized training scenarios.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain real‑time simulation software using Unreal Engine for aviation training and mission rehearsal systems.
- Collaborate with the Visual Systems Team to integrate real‑time graphics, Image Generators (IG), and out‑the‑window (OTW) visual environments.
- Design and implement high‑fidelity 3D environments, aircraft models, terrain databases, and visual effects to support immersive simulation scenarios.
- Develop and optimize real‑time rendering pipelines, shaders, and performance tuning to ensure stable frame rates and visual fidelity.
- Integrate simulation data streams and coordinate with systems engineers to meet mission requirements.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Unreal Engine and C++ for real‑time graphics development.
- Strong background in graphics programming, shader development, and performance optimization.
- Experience with 3D modeling, terrain databases, and visual effects for simulation environments.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and communicate technical concepts clearly.
