What You'll Do

We are looking for an Unreal Engine C++ Programmer to join our Fortnite team. In this role, you'll be developing and maintaining game systems and features across a variety of platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with designers, artists, and other engineers to bring new and exciting gameplay experiences to millions of players.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain gameplay systems and features in C++ using Unreal Engine.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, art, QA) to deliver high-quality gameplay experiences.
• Optimize game performance and memory usage across various platforms.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall technical design of the game.
• Debug and resolve issues across the game’s codebase.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in C++ programming.
• Extensive experience with Unreal Engine 4 or 5.
• Experience with game development, especially for multiplayer titles.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with multiplayer networking.
• Familiarity with various game development tools and pipelines.
• Previous experience shipping a game title.
