Unity Mobile Game Developer – Contract | Fully Remote | Flexible Hours | Project-Based Engagement
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain features in our Unity (C#) game — gameplay, UI, Addressables, and the build pipeline
- Manage iOS and Android releases, including SDK updates, provisioning, signing, and Swift Package Manager
- Maintain third-party integrations such as Firebase, RevenueCat, AppsFlyer, and Apple/Google sign-in
- Investigate and resolve bugs, most commonly around accounts, authentication, and activation
- Support the backend and cloud services behind the game as features require
What We're Looking For
- Proven Unity/C# experience within a large, established codebase (not just prototypes)
- A track record of shipping mobile games or apps to the App Store and Google Play
- Confidence owning a feature from start to finish and debugging across the application
- Reliability and strong self-direction in a remote setting
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Backend development with Node.js or Python (REST APIs, JWT authentication)
- Subscription or in-app purchase integrations (RevenueCat or similar)
- AWS (S3, IAM, Redshift) or Firebase (Firestore, Cloud Functions)
- Social login (Google, Apple) and OAuth flows
- SQL for player and subscription analytics
- Experience with COPPA / KidSAFE or other children's-privacy compliance
- Transactional email systems
Professional Maturity
- Takes ownership of tasks and sees them through
- Manages a mix of quick fixes and longer feature work without dropping either
- Communicates clearly — raises issues early and proposes solutions
- Handles user data responsibly, with awareness that our audience includes children
Work Environment
Remote First We're a fully distributed team. You work from wherever you're most productive.
Flexible Working Hours Work on your own schedule—we trust you to manage your time. We do ask that you maintain availability between 6pm–12am PKT to ensure we have overlap for synchronous meetings and team collaboration. We recommend 3–4 hours of working time within this window so you can effectively reach other team members, though it's not a hard requirement.
Technical Project Management Our PMs are developers themselves—they've built software and understand realistic timelines and technical constraints. This means better collaboration, clearer communication, and project planning grounded in reality.
Project Variety You'll rotate through different projects and challenges, preventing monotony and expanding your breadth of experience across our portfolio.
