Unit Contact Engineer overseeing day‑to‑day operations of upgrader, refinery, and ethanol units, ensuring performance targets, managing deviations, and leading safety, turnaround, and cross‑functional initiatives using data‑driven insights.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze unit performance to ensure compliance with production targets, specifications, and safety standards.
- Identify, document, and communicate deviations, recommending corrective actions and tracking resolution.
- Lead and coordinate turnaround activities, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Conduct hazard assessments and support continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement plant‑wide and corporate projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Process, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in refinery or upgrader operations.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and project management abilities.
