Data Analyst
We're looking for a Data Analyst focused on designing and building scalable technical solutions. This mid level role requires 3+ years of relevant experience.
About the role
Responsible for running and reviewing UI ETA reports (use of SQL).
Works with management to reconcile ETA reports with work performed to ensure consistency of reported data to our Federal partners.
Collaborates with financial analyst to compile, document, forecast data towards accurate and complete analysis for the Resource Justification Model (RJM).
Applies quantitative techniques and mathematical formulas to identify, address problems and assist in making decisions.
Works with developers to modify computer programs to create solutions and use system knowledge to select as needed the best recommendation.
Interprets results of quantitative models, identifies trends and issues, and develops alternatives to support agency objectives.
Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to create accurate and meaningful dashboards providing data visualization communicating actionable information.
Builds and maintains analytical tools to ensure agency's monitoring ability of emerging trends.
Performs advanced ad-hoc analysis when required and collaborates with leadership on prioritization.
Takes initiative to collaborate with analytic team/peers, data stewards, and data custodians when data obstacles are identified.
Collaborates on solutions and potential workarounds when analytics team identifies issues.
Maintains advanced working knowledge of tools such as Tableau, SQL and all MS products.
Interprets and defines trends to be used to improve performance and determine training and SOP development as needed.
Annotates documents to maintain consistency with the related database records.
Uses queries to understand items and other demographic information of populations served.
