About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and validate high‑fidelity models and simulations of undersea platforms, sensors, and weapons systems.
- Perform signal‑processing and data‑analysis tasks on sonar, acoustic, and other undersea datasets.
- Translate complex technical requirements into software implementations using Python, MATLAB, and C++.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to produce objective technical assessments for Navy stakeholders.
- Prepare technical reports, briefings, and visualizations that clearly communicate findings and recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Ocean Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, and C++ for scientific computing and algorithm development.
- Experience with signal‑processing, acoustic modeling, or undersea sensor data analysis.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to produce rigorous, objective technical assessments.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for delivering technical briefings to senior leaders.
