About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed geotechnical investigations and rock mass classification for underground stoping areas.
- Design and evaluate ground support systems, including rock bolts, shotcrete, and mesh, to ensure safe longhole stoping operations.
- Monitor and interpret deformation, stress, and stability data using field instrumentation and numerical modeling.
- Collaborate with mining, drilling, and processing teams to integrate geotechnical recommendations into mine planning and production schedules.
- Prepare technical reports, risk assessments, and documentation for regulatory compliance and internal review.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Mining Engineering, or related field.
