Systems Engineer
Lead the end‑to‑end design, integration, and testing of fixed‑wing UAVs, applying expertise in aerodynamics, propulsion, avionics, and advanced flight control systems to deliver high‑performance, reliable aircraft.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and define the fixed‑wing UAV architecture, including airframe, propulsion, avionics, and payload integration.
- Conduct aerodynamic analysis, weight & balance calculations, and performance estimation for range, endurance, and stall speed.
- Configure and integrate flight controllers such as Pixhawk, Cube, and DJI, ensuring seamless communication between hardware and software.
- Perform PID tuning, TECS configuration, and navigation parameter optimization to achieve precise flight control.
- Lead testing and validation activities, troubleshooting integration issues and refining system performance.
Requirements
- Strong background in aerodynamics, propulsion, and avionics for fixed‑wing UAVs.
- Hands‑on experience with flight controller platforms (Pixhawk, Cube, DJI) and flight control software.
- Proficiency in PID tuning, TECS, and navigation parameter optimization.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work cross‑functionally with design, software, and testing teams.
- Effective communication skills and a proactive, detail‑oriented approach to engineering challenges.
