Job summary
We are seeking a Security Automation Engineer to help design, build, and maintain automation workflows across DigiCert’s Trust Office functions. This role focuses on reducing manual effort, improving consistency, and accelerating response by automating security processes, data flows, and decisioning across security tools and platforms. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of hands-on experience building automation using Python and APIs, is comfortable working across security and engineering teams, and has practical exposure to integrating AI/LLM capabilities into workflows such as enrichment, summarization, classification, or decision support.
What you will do
Design, implement, and maintain security automation workflows that reduce manual effort across Trust Office teams
Develop Python-based automation to integrate security tools, APIs, and data sources.
Build automated workflows for vulnerability management, alert enrichment, ticket creation, remediation tracking, and reporting.
Partner with Security Engineering, Security Operations, Governance, Industry Standards, and Platform Operations teams to identify high-value automation opportunities.
Implement AI/LLM-assisted automation use cases with appropriate security guardrails.
Ensure automation reliability through logging, error handling, documentation, and basic testing.
Support integration and orchestration across SIEMs, ticketing systems, and cloud services.
Document workflows and runbooks to support scalability and maintainability.
