This position may be filled at one of the three levels based on knowledge, skills, and abilities. The entry salary is posted above, with the intermediate salary of $56,712.48 and a senior salary of $61,249.44.

What you’ll do

• Studies business data needs and develops Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support departmental objectives.
• Conducts data gathering and validation; reviews information for accuracy and prepares analyses of collected data.
• Develops and maintains datasets, data models, spreadsheets, and Power Platform workflows to improve reporting efficiency.
• Serves as a liaison with internal stakeholders to understand reporting

requirements

and ensure data accuracy and usability.

• Learns and applies SQL to support data extraction, transformation, and long‑term business intelligence development.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree: Business Administration, Economic Development, Engineering, Planning, Public Administration, or related field, OR
• Four years of experience in transportation planning or engineering.

Special Working Conditions:

• Job requires occasional, statewide, overnight travel.
