Software Engineer
Engineer responsible for end‑to‑end IT infrastructure operations, including network management, server administration, and security monitoring, ensuring high availability and performance of transmission and access systems.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor the full lifecycle of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and transmission equipment.
- Operate and troubleshoot Network Management Systems (NMS) to ensure accurate performance data and rapid fault resolution.
- Maintain server environments (Linux/Windows), applying patches, updates, and configuration changes.
- Implement and oversee security tools and policies to protect network and server assets.
- Develop and execute test plans for new hardware, software releases, and configuration changes.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimize network performance and support capacity planning.
Requirements
- Strong experience with network management platforms and monitoring tools.
- Hands‑on expertise in Linux system administration and server virtualization.
- Knowledge of Cisco routing and switching technologies.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation.
- Understanding of network security principles and implementation of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and access controls.
