SUMMARY The automation training specialist II is a person in charge of providing, hiring and creating technical training on the processes and equipment of Jabil operations for both engineers and technicians.
SUMMARY The automation training specialist II is a person in charge of providing, hiring and creating technical training on the processes and equipment of Jabil operations for both engineers and technicians. This position is responsible for the creation of procedures when warranted oriented towards having the entire team accessing the critical knowledge for the proper functioning of the manufacturing processes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• identify training needs in the technical and engineering team.
• Create, Hire, or provide necessary training to the technical and engineering team.
• Create or contract the creation of educational and audio-visual content to facilitate learning.
• Maintain a database of specific and critical knowledge for the optimal functioning of operations (courses, one-point lessons, manuals, etc.)
• Drafting work instructions for equipment maintenance.
• Hire or create didactic training material using real and/or practical cases.
Deliver classroom and hands-on training in automation topics (PLC, HMI, SMT, etc.).
• Creation of exams for the certification of personnel for critical tasks.
• Responsible for specialized training and induction of automation staff upon entry.
• Formulate learning objectives for the automation team.
• In collaboration with supervisors create and/or modify Curricula.
