Overview:
SOSi is seeking a Training Curriculum Developer to support our government customer onsite at Fort Belvoir, VA . In this role, you will design, develop, and refine training curriculum that enhances learner success and supports digital accessibility objectives for the 508 team.
Essential Job Duties:
- Collaborate with government personnel to develop curriculum that improves student outcomes.
- Assess student needs and identify gaps in knowledge or skills.
- Evaluate instructional methods and recommend enhancements.
- Establish clear learning goals and objectives.
- Develop comprehensive learning plans aligned with established goals.
- Create, organize, and maintain curriculum materials that support instruction.
- Review and recommend educational tools, such as software, books, videos, and digital resources.
- Partner with the Training Curriculum Developer to design and deliver training on digital accessibility topics, including creating accessible electronic documents, document remediation, and ensuring website accessibility.
Minimum Requirements:
- Active, in-scope DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and 2–4 years of specialized experience in curriculum development.
- Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to produce a wide range of training and educational materials.
- Ability to document, track, and report curriculum development progress and results.
- Experience supporting the government with end‑user testing and instructional content refinement.
- Demonstrated experience working closely with functional experts to build relevant, high‑quality curriculum.
- Ability to research and develop instructionally sound course content, learning activities, and learning objectives.
- Experience performing task analyses and developing training requirements, instructional materials, and evaluation plans.
- Ability to collaborate with trainers and subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy
- Proficiency with learning management systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong focus on developing curriculum that boosts learner success.
