Trainee Security Engineer

We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Security Engineer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the security systems industry.

Working alongside one of our experienced Senior Engineers, you'll receive hands-on training while assisting with the installation, servicing and maintenance of a range of security systems, including:

• CCTV systems
• Intruder alarms
• Access control systems
• Automatic gates and barriers

This role offers the chance to develop valuable technical skills, work with a variety of technologies and gain industry experience in a supportive environment.

About You

We're looking for someone who is eager to learn and has a genuine interest in engineering. Ideally, you'll have:

• A qualification in an electrical, electronic or engineering-related discipline.
• Evidence of an interest in an engineering or technical career, such as work experience, a college placement, personal projects or a relevant hobby.
• Good organisational skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
• The ability to work as part of a team while also using your own initiative.
• A willingness to learn, develop and take pride in your work.
• Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic.

Essential Requirements

• A full UK driving licence.
• The right to work in the UK.
• A clean criminal record. Employment is subject to successful security screening in accordance with BS 7858 .
