About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Execute detailed manual test cases across functional, regression, and integration scenarios.
- Document and report defects in a clear, concise manner using the defect tracking system.
- Collaborate with developers and product owners to clarify requirements and verify fixes.
- Maintain and update test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test logs.
- Participate in daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to improve QA processes.
Requirements
- Graduated with a BE/B.Tech, MCA, or B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Science or IT.
- Strong academic record (85%+), with a keen eye for detail and quality.
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle and QA methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new testing tools and practices.
