BI Engineer
Entry‑level role focused on building and supporting Power BI solutions, creating dashboards, writing DAX/MDX queries, and assisting with data extraction, transformation and loading for business analytics.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models.
- Write and optimize DAX and MDX expressions to meet reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with business analysts to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Support ETL processes, ensuring data quality and timely availability for analytics.
- Participate in code reviews and documentation of Power BI artefacts.
Requirements
- Graduated in Computer Science, IT, or related field with a minimum 85% academic record.
- Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL.
- Familiarity with Power BI concepts, data modeling, and visualization best practices.
- Exposure to DAX or MDX programming language is preferred.
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new technologies.
