This position involves complex work requiring the integration of civil and traffic engineering skills, project management, and staff and consultant management for the Traffic Group within the Engineering Division of the Department of Public Works. Work requires creativity and engineering judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, adaptation, and modification of standard practices, procedures, and criteria. The position requires broad knowledge in civil engineering, the traffic specialty area, as described below, and good knowledge of principles and practices of related specialties. The work includes close coordination with other agencies, various metro districts, and other County workgroups.
Generally, the hiring range is $115,552-$144,440 annually. Qualifications, education and experience as it relates to the position will be taken into consideration when determining hiring salary.
