Software Engineer
Trade Support Engineer responsible for maintaining a high‑performance trading platform, monitoring production systems, triaging incidents, and deploying trading applications using Python, SQL, and Linux tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the production trading environment and respond to alerts in real time.
- Triage, resolve, or escalates technical incidents under time pressure (Level 1/Level 2).
- Deploy and configure proprietary and third‑party trading applications.
- Investigate trade and position breaks, and work with traders, developers, and quantitative researchers to resolve issues.
- Maintain and improve monitoring dashboards, alerting rules, and incident playbooks.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Linux system administration and scripting (Python, Bash).
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting.
- Hands‑on knowledge of trading systems, order flow, and market data feeds.
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure during market hours.
