TMN Cloud / Systems Engineer - General Dynamics Information Technology

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure for tactical mission networks, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Implement DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and configuration management.
• Secure cloud environments through threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and continuous monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate new services and optimize existing platform performance.
• Document architecture, processes, and best practices for knowledge sharing across the organization.

Requirements

• Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and IaaS/PaaS services.
• Strong background in DevOps tooling (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Terraform, Ansible).
• Hands‑on security expertise, including IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, mission‑critical environment.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
