Seeking a Thinfilms Process Sustaining Engineering Technician to support and improve semiconductor manufacturing processes. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting, data analysis, and equipment maintenance to ensure optimal production yields.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze thin film process performance to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve process excursions and equipment issues to minimize downtime and maintain yield.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement process changes and upgrades.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and calibration to ensure optimal performance.
- Document process parameters, experimental results, and corrective actions.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and product quality.
Requirements
- Proven experience in semiconductor manufacturing or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of thin film deposition processes and equipment.
- Proficiency in data analysis and statistical process control (SPC).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical information clearly.
