Systems Engineer
Design and analyze thermal and HVAC systems using CFD and simulation tools, develop test plans, and support integration of thermal solutions for complex engineering projects.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thermal and fluid flow analyses for system components and assemblies using CFD tools such as ANSYS Fluent.
- Create and validate 3D models and detailed drawings in SolidWorks to support thermal design and integration.
- Develop and execute test plans, collect data, and analyze results to verify thermal performance against specifications.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to incorporate thermal solutions into overall system designs, ensuring compliance with safety and reliability standards.
- Generate technical documentation, reports, and recommendations for design improvements and risk mitigation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field with a focus on thermodynamics.
- 3+ years of experience in thermal analysis, CFD modeling, and HVAC system design.
- Proficiency with ANSYS (Fluent, Mechanical) and SolidWorks for simulation and drafting.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret test data; experience with Python for data processing is a plus.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to work within multidisciplinary project teams.
