About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute thermal recovery plans for SAGD assets, ensuring optimal steam distribution and reservoir performance.
- Collaborate with geoscientists, production engineers, and field staff to integrate subsurface data into operational strategies.
- Perform technical and economic evaluations to guide investment decisions and asset development.
- Implement and monitor field operations, troubleshooting steam‑generation and injection processes.
- Lead cross‑disciplinary teams in the design and execution of innovative recovery techniques.
Requirements
- Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience with SAGD operations and thermal recovery methods.
- Strong analytical skills in reservoir modeling and economic assessment.
