About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test thermal control and life support hardware for the Crew Starship program.
- Perform system-level analysis and trade studies to optimize hardware performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and testing, to ensure successful hardware integration.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and test procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues throughout the development lifecycle.
- Contribute to the overall architecture and design of the Crew Starship life support and thermal control systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in thermal control systems and/or life support systems design.
- Proficiency in CAD software and experience with hardware development processes.
- Strong understanding of aerospace systems engineering principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
