The Digital Solutions Developer - Student - Southwestern Public Health

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power Apps and Power Automate flows to automate data collection and reporting processes.
• Build and deploy Azure functions and services that integrate with existing health information systems.
• Create interactive Power BI dashboards to visualize key public health metrics for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, test solutions, and provide ongoing support.
• Document development processes, maintain version control, and ensure compliance with data security standards.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a STEM or related program with coursework in software development or data analytics.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and basic knowledge of Azure services.
• Proficiency in .NET (C#) or similar programming language for building custom connectors and Azure functions.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
