Lead end‑to‑end system testing for storage solutions, driving test strategy, automation, and performance validation on VMware and Linux platforms to ensure high quality and reliable deployments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead functional and technical discussions to understand design specifications and identify performance concerns in storage systems.
- Plan, design, and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, integration, and performance testing on VMware and Linux environments.
- Drive automation initiatives, develop reusable test scripts, and maintain test frameworks to accelerate delivery.
- Mentor and coach QA engineers, ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and product teams to resolve defects and improve product quality.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in system testing, preferably in storage or infrastructure domains.
- Strong knowledge of VMware, Linux, and storage technologies (SAN/NAS).
- Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience with performance testing and monitoring tools is a plus.
