Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Test Engineering Manager located in Guadalajara, North Campus. This role involves being responsible for managing the evaluation, recommendation, and implementation of testing procedures, strategies, systems, components, and modifications. Act as an advisor to test engineering team regarding projects, tasks, and operations and acts as a liaison to other engineering functions. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. What a typical day looks like:
- Directs and/or coordinates electronic engineering and/or technical personnel in fabrication and design of testing and test control apparatus and equipment, or software and systems testing.
- Directs and coordinates electronic engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation and calibration of instruments, equipment and control devices required for testing, and recording data.
- Defines conditions under which tests are conducted, including sequences and phases of test operations.
- Interfaces with scientific, engineering, and technical personnel to resolve testing issues such as product malfunctions, incomplete data, or interpretation challenges.
- Evaluates and interprets test data and prepares technical reports for engineering teams and management.
- Develops or utilizes computer software and hardware to execute tests on electronic products, systems, or software.
- Trains and instructs technicians, operators, and support teams on test systems and problem-solving methodologies.
- Coordinates all test activities during each project phase.
- Resolves yield issues through root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous monitoring.
- Supports equipment verification and integration into production.
- Creates and maintains process documentation.
- Actively explores and implements new technologies and test methodologies.
- Assesses testing process alternatives and drives improvements.
- Ensure test strategy risks are documented and mitigated.
- Manages risks associated with testing activities and takes proactive action.
- Plans and coordinates meetings, workshops, and interactions with stakeholders across development and testing phases.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, mechatronics or related.
- Advanced English level.
