The Test Engineer will support the FAA and team by successfully accomplishing the following:
- Generate and Publish Test Procedures and Test Reports for the Integration and Verification of FTI with new NAS Equipment, Maintenance and Degraded Operations (MDO) of the NESG and Internal (FNTB OpIP) Programs, Equipment Replacement due to obsolescence, Tech Refresh and interoperability testing of NAS systems.
- Define Test Strategies, co-ordinate and preform testing for User connections to the NESG, ensuring thorough and complete test coverage.
- Maintain centralized IPSF Database(repository), by preparing, verifying and auditing IPSFs associated with IP addressing and data flows through the FNTB ESG, troubleshoot after implementation in the FNTB, and provide updated, tested configurations, as a basis for the Operational IPSFs.
- Provide IESP integration and development test support.
- Review applicable ARB documentation and support related activities for FTI baseline changes; facilitate the implementation of ARB architecture changes in a consistent manner to assure compliance with policy; review of all CINP ARB documentation.
- Provide engineering, technical support, and integration and test support for SWIM provided SOA services for NAS systems.
- Security testing for all systems and services with system owners, PEN testing and IRAT
- Creating/maintaining ED11 tab in IPSFs to support zero-trust FNTB Internal (FNTB OpIP) mandate.
- Creating/maintaining Remote Management Access Gateway (RMAG) tab for remote access.
- Bachelor's degree and 14 years experience
- Associate's degree and 16 years experience
- Ability to travel to meetings at FAA or vendor facilities around the U.S if required by the role.
- Experience supporting federal government programs within the FAA.
- U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident with a minimum of three (3) years of U.S. residency.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an FAA Public Trust
- Ability to work independently and/or in collaborative team environments to complete assigned tasks within expected schedule to complete
