QA Engineer
Entry‑level Test Engineer responsible for creating and executing test cases, logging defects, and supporting automation efforts within an Agile environment, ensuring high‑quality software delivery for client projects.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed test cases and test scripts based on functional specifications.
- Execute manual and automated test suites, record results, and verify defect fixes.
- Log, track, and prioritize defects using a defect‑management tool, collaborating with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives as part of an Agile team.
- Assist in the maintenance and enhancement of test automation frameworks and tools.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts and lifecycle.
- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Exposure to test automation tools such as Selenium or similar.
- Good analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
