QA Engineer
Test Engineer responsible for planning, executing, and automating verification of integrated air‑defense components (IBCS, Patriot, Sentinel, etc.) within a System‑of‑Systems environment for Army projects.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain test plans, procedures, and schedules for Air Defense System‑of‑Systems evaluations.
- Execute hardware‑in‑the‑loop and software‑in‑the‑loop tests, capturing and analyzing results to verify performance against requirements.
- Integrate and validate subsystems such as IBCS, Patriot, Sentinel, LTAMDS, IFPC, and emerging sensors/launchers within the Integrated Fires Mission Command framework.
- Automate test sequences using Python or C++ scripts and maintain test data in configuration management tools.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and Army test teams to resolve issues and ensure test readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in test planning, execution, and automation for complex defense or aerospace systems.
- Proficiency in Python or C++ for test script development and data analysis.
- Familiarity with requirements management tools (e.g., IBM DOORS) and issue tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work in a multi‑disciplinary, security‑sensitive environment.
