QA Engineer
Test Engineer focused on Google Play correctness, designing and executing automated and manual tests, creating test plans and cases, and debugging complex issues in a matrixed environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for Google Play services using Python and Java.
- Create comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases to validate feature correctness and performance.
- Execute production and system integration tests, identify defects, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues.
- Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to improve product quality.
- Participate in cross‑functional reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s or PhD preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in coding, test methodology development, and debugging.
- Hands‑on experience with production and system integration testing.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work effectively in a complex, matrixed organization.
