QA Engineer
Systems Test Engineer driving lifecycle support for mission‑critical defense systems, designing and executing rigorous test plans, automating test processes, and ensuring compliance with stringent security and performance standards.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, procedures, and test cases for the Force Protection System (FPS) Family of Systems.
- Execute functional, performance, and integration tests across multiple platforms, documenting results and identifying defects.
- Collaborate with systems engineering, software, and hardware teams to troubleshoot issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Automate repetitive test tasks using scripting languages and test frameworks to improve efficiency and repeatability.
- Prepare detailed test reports, traceability matrices, and certification documentation for regulatory and customer review.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in systems or software test engineering within a defense or regulated environment.
- Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., HP ALM, TestRail) and scripting (Python, Bash).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of security standards (NIST, DoD) and lifecycle processes (V&V, configuration management) is a plus.
