QA Engineer
Experienced Test Engineer needed to design, implement and execute verification activities for aerospace defence systems, using Python, C++ and test‑automation frameworks while ensuring compliance with DO‑178C and other aerospace standards.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test suites for embedded aerospace hardware and software components.
- Design test procedures, test plans, and validation reports in accordance with DO‑178C and other relevant standards.
- Execute functional, integration, and performance tests on Linux‑based test benches and hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL) setups.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and systems engineers to identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and drive root‑cause analysis.
- Maintain test documentation, traceability matrices, and configuration management records.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in test engineering for aerospace or defence projects.
- Proficiency in Python and C++ for test script development and automation.
- Strong knowledge of aerospace standards such as DO‑178C, MIL‑STD‑1553, or similar.
- Hands‑on experience with embedded Linux, real‑time operating systems, and hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing environments.
