About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, set up, and execute rigorous tests on components, sub-systems, and integrated aircraft systems for the Chaparral autonomous VTOL cargo aircraft.
- Validate and certify aircraft hardware, ensuring it meets performance, reliability, and safety standards.
- Work with mechanical fixtures, electrical test benches, and environmental chambers.
- Bridge the gap between design and reality through hands-on testing.
- Contribute to the advancement of middle-mile logistics through rigorous testing and validation.
Requirements
- Adaptable engineer with a background in electrical, mechanical, or aerospace engineering.
- Experience in a hands-on testing environment.
- Proven ability to plan and execute complex testing procedures.
- Understanding of performance, reliability, and safety standards in aerospace.
