QA Engineer
Perform hands‑on testing of autonomous tractors, analyze system logs, debug issues, and drive process improvements using C++, Python, ROS, and Linux‑based test automation tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Operate autonomous tractor prototypes in field environments to validate new software and hardware features.
- Collect, process, and analyze system logs and sensor data to identify abnormal behavior.
- Collaborate with software and hardware engineers to reproduce issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement fixes.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and validation frameworks using C++, Python, and ROS.
- Identify opportunities to streamline testing procedures, improve tooling, and enhance overall test efficiency.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in C++ and Python, with experience in robotics or autonomous systems.
- Proficiency with ROS (Robot Operating System) and Linux development environments.
- Hands‑on experience in test automation, data collection, and log analysis for complex hardware/software integrations.
- Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in real‑time field operations.
- Excellent communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
