Data Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of enterprise test data solutions, ensuring high-quality, realistic data for testing across the development lifecycle using Python, SQL, and cloud services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test data pipelines that support automated and manual testing across multiple product lines.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and QA teams to define data requirements, data quality rules, and data masking strategies.
- Implement data modeling and transformation logic using SQL and Python, ensuring data consistency and integrity.
- Leverage AWS services (e.g., S3, Glue, Redshift) to store, process, and serve test data at scale.
- Monitor and optimize data pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve data quality metrics.
Requirements
- Proven experience building data pipelines and working with large datasets.
- Hands‑on experience with ETL tools and cloud data platforms, preferably AWS.
- Strong understanding of data quality, data masking, and privacy best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment.
