QA Engineer
Experienced Test Automation Engineer needed for a global automotive innovation program. This 6-month contract role, based in Farnborough, UK, focuses on developing and executing automated tests within an Agile environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for software applications.
- Execute test cases and analyze results to identify defects and regressions.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand software design and testability.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Document test plans, test cases, and test results.
- Ensure the quality and reliability of automotive software solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Test Automation Engineer or similar role.
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or Java.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
