QA Engineer
Design and implement automated test systems for high‑power fusion manufacturing equipment, using Python, C++, LabVIEW, PLCs and CI tools to ensure reliability and performance of critical hardware.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for manufacturing hardware, including high‑voltage, high‑current plasma systems.
- Design test fixtures, data acquisition, and control software using Python, C++ and LabVIEW.
- Integrate PLC programming and hardware‑in‑the‑loop simulations to validate system performance and safety.
- Implement continuous integration pipelines (Jenkins, Git) to run regression suites and report results.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and controls engineers to troubleshoot failures and improve test coverage.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of test automation experience.
- Proficiency in Python and C++ for test script development.
- Hands‑on experience with LabVIEW and PLC programming (Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, etc.).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and version control (Git).
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, interdisciplinary environment.
