Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

Develop a deep understanding of wholesale electricity markets, customer workflows, optimization logic, and end-to-end product behavior

Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Data Scientists to clarify requirements before implementation

Design comprehensive test strategies that cover functional scenarios, edge cases, system interactions, and business risks

Challenge assumptions and identify gaps in requirements before they become production issues

Help the team think beyond individual features by considering customer impact and end-to-end workflows

Continuously improve QA processes, documentation, and automation to make quality scalable

Share knowledge and mentor teammates to grow overall product expertise across the organization

Required Qualifications

Experience testing modern web-based SaaS applications across UI, API, databases, and backend services

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle ( SDLC ), Agile methodologies, and quality engineering best practices

Experience with UI and API testing, SQL, and modern test automation frameworks

Experience with cloud environments like AWS, Azure

Ability to analyze complex systems and identify functional, integration, and business risks

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning emerging technologies and embed them into day-to-day Quality Engineering practices

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with industry-standard automation tools such as pyTest and Playwright

Experience using test management tools such as TestRail

Experience in using data and metrics to drive continuous quality improvement

Experience in Energy industry and SaaS platforms

Experience using AI to assist with requirement analysis, test planning, edge case discovery, risk assessment, test automation and documentation
