About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and documentation of test and verification activities for medical devices and laser systems.
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and protocols to ensure product safety, efficacy, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, engineering, and quality assurance, to define requirements and resolve issues.
- Ensure all testing activities comply with relevant industry standards, regulations (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA), and internal quality policies.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and recommend corrective actions.
- Manage and mentor a team of test and verification engineers.
Requirements
- Proven experience in test and verification, specifically within the medical device industry.
- Strong understanding of laser systems and their applications in medical devices.
- In-depth knowledge of quality assurance principles and regulatory requirements for medical devices.
- Experience with various testing methodologies and tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
