Lead the testing and commissioning of advanced generator control and protection systems, ensuring reliability and performance through rigorous field validation and troubleshooting using PLC, SCADA, and HMI technologies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and document comprehensive test procedures for generator control and protection hardware and software.
- Collaborate with design and field teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues during commissioning.
- Configure and program PLCs, SCADA, and HMI interfaces to meet system specifications.
- Develop and maintain detailed test reports, logs, and corrective action plans.
- Provide technical guidance and support to field advisory teams during installation and hand‑over.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in testing and commissioning of power generation or industrial control systems.
- Proficiency with PLC programming, SCADA, and HMI platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to client sites for field testing and support.
