Lead the creation of high‑quality bids for data centre projects across Australia, collaborating with engineering, sales and commercial teams to deliver resilient, sustainable, and high‑performing infrastructure solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive tender documents and proposals for data centre opportunities, ensuring alignment with client requirements and Siemens’ technical standards.
- Collaborate closely with Bid Leader, engineering, sales and commercial teams to integrate technical, commercial and regulatory aspects into bids.
- Conduct detailed cost analysis, risk assessment and value engineering to optimise bid competitiveness while maintaining profitability.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends, standards and emerging technologies in power distribution, automation and digitalisation.
- Prepare and present bid summaries to senior stakeholders, highlighting technical strengths and commercial advantages.
Requirements
- Proven experience in tendering and bid management for data centre or large‑scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong technical background in power distribution, automation, and digital solutions for data centres.
- Excellent commercial awareness, with ability to balance cost, risk and value.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing cross‑functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tender management tools; familiarity with project management software is a plus.
