QA Engineer
Design and execute functional stress‑load, calibration and failure testing for legacy telecom hardware using Python, LabVIEW and RF test equipment, while delivering analytics to improve network performance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and run functional stress‑load and calibration test plans for telecom hardware and network equipment.
- Program automated test sequences using Python and LabVIEW to improve test repeatability and reduce cycle time.
- Operate and maintain RF test instruments, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
- Collect, analyze, and report test data to generate repair analytics and recommendations for performance improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering and repair teams to troubleshoot failures and refine test methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in telecommunications hardware testing, including RF and protocol testing.
- Proficiency in Python scripting and LabVIEW for test automation.
- Strong understanding of network protocols (e.g., Ethernet, SONET/SDH, OTN) and signal integrity concepts.
- Experience with test equipment calibration, data acquisition, and statistical analysis.
