Telecommunications Engineering Technician - leidos

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain telecommunications systems and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal network performance.
• Conduct site surveys and prepare installation plans for telecommunications infrastructure.
• Manage and maintain inventory of telecommunications hardware and components.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement and test new solutions.
• Document network configurations and troubleshooting procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Telecommunications Engineering Technician or similar role.
• Strong understanding of telecommunications principles and technologies.
• Proficiency in network cabling, fiber optics, and RF systems.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
