Telecom Project Engineer responsible for network installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Requires strong IP networking knowledge, CCNA certification, and experience with routers, switches, and firewalls.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain technical documentation for customer networks during project handovers.
- Install, configure, fault find, report on, and maintain routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Complete site surveys to facilitate equipment installation.
- Install and commission rack, charger, and telecoms equipment to a high standard.
- Develop Health and Safety documentation, including RAMS and POWRA.
Requirements
- Proven experience in monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network and system environments.
- Strong background in IP networking.
- CCNA certification or equivalent experience.
- Experience with network hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
