About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain telecommunications equipment and systems.
- Perform field service calls for troubleshooting and repair of network issues.
- Conduct site surveys and prepare for equipment installations.
- Manage cabling infrastructure, including fiber optic and copper installations.
- Document all work performed, including technical issues and resolutions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve complex technical problems.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Field Engineer or in a similar telecommunications role.
- Proficiency in network installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of telecommunications hardware and software.
- Experience with cabling standards and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a field environment.
