About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and engineer Outside Plant (OSP) fiber optic networks, including route planning and cable sizing.
- Manage construction activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and local authorities for permitting and site access.
- Perform site surveys and feasibility studies for new fiber optic deployments.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including drawings, reports, and progress updates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during network construction and activation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Outside Plant (OSP) fiber optic engineering.
- Strong understanding of telecommunications network infrastructure and deployment practices.
- Proficiency in OSP design software and tools.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret and create technical drawings and specifications.
