About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage worldwide Telco Field Engineering teams across APAC, EMEA, and AMER.
- Drive customer understanding and implementation of Canonical's open-source solutions.
- Oversee the deployment of solutions in public clouds and on-premises data centers.
- Focus on areas including Ubuntu, virtualization, private cloud, Kubernetes, and MLOps platforms.
- Act as an outstanding engineer, capable of troubleshooting complex technical challenges.
- Collaborate with customers across the entire spectrum of cloud offerings.
Requirements
- Proven experience in leading engineering teams, preferably in a global capacity.
- Strong technical background in cloud computing, Kubernetes, and open-source technologies.
- Experience with MLOps platforms and data platforms is highly desirable.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate and engage with customers on technical solutions.
