About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 application support for Securities Services products across the Asia Pacific region.
- Serve as the main technology liaison between business stakeholders and operations teams, translating requirements into technical actions.
- Own the end‑to‑end incident lifecycle: detection, triage, resolution, and post‑mortem analysis.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and automation to improve service reliability and reduce mean time to recovery.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to deploy patches, upgrades, and performance optimizations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in application support or site reliability engineering, preferably in financial services.
- Strong hands‑on skills with Linux operating systems and command‑line tools.
- Proficiency in Java and SQL for troubleshooting and query analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to manage production incidents, conduct root‑cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with business users and technical teams across multiple time zones.
