Software Engineer
Technology Support Engineer responsible for resolving incidents, managing changes, and maintaining operational stability across storage and backup systems using NetApp SAN and Commvault solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve incidents and problems across NetApp SAN and Commvault backup environments to maintain business continuity.
- Create, review, and implement Requests for Change (RFCs) ensuring minimal impact on production systems.
- Update and maintain knowledge base articles and documentation for effective troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal service management teams to analyze issues and develop long‑term solutions.
- Participate in on‑call rotations and provide 24/7 support as required.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with NetApp Storage Area Network administration.
- Proficiency in Commvault backup administration and data protection best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally with vendors and internal teams.
- Experience with change management processes and documentation.
