Software Engineer
Lead the Technology, Data and Experience service to ensure stable, resilient IT operations during organisational change, overseeing service continuity, cloud platforms, security and cross‑functional project delivery.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for the delivery, stability and resilience of all IT services across the organisation.
- Manage service continuity and incident response, ensuring rapid restoration and minimal disruption.
- Oversee cloud infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives, aligning them with business risk and compliance requirements.
- Drive major technology projects, coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers to meet timelines and budgets.
- Develop and maintain ITIL‑based processes, service catalogs and performance metrics.
- Engage senior stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions and service improvements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in senior IT service management roles, preferably within the public sector.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL frameworks and practical application in service delivery.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and cybersecurity best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and manage cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of influencing senior leadership.
